2009 New York City Mock Trial Tournament

The Justice Resource Center administers the New York State Bar Association’s Mock Trial program in New York City, with over 100 private, public and parochial schools participating in a multiple elimination round competition.

New York City students are paired with a law firm, a private attorney, or one of the lawyers from the five District Attorney’s Offices enabling each team to be coached by an expert. Students present their oral arguments at the Brooklyn and Manhattan Federal Courts and the New York State Court in Queens. Student arguments are heard before attorneys from the Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens DA’s offices and US Attorneys from the Eastern District.
